One Ride. One Sisterhood. One Historic Day.

By Shannon “Dazzlin” Venturo

On June 13, 2026, I found myself among 1,433 women riders in Rockford, Illinois, making history together. As we lined up our motorcycles and prepared to ride, I knew I was witnessing something special. What I didn’t fully realize in that moment was just how powerful it would feel to be part of a new world record for the largest gathering of women motorcyclists riding together.

For my riding partner, Pineapple, and me, this journey started long before we arrived in Rockford. We pointed our motorcycles east and left Las Vegas, Nevada, with a shared purpose: to attend Get Your Groove On 2026 and stand alongside women from every corner of the country. The miles stretched across deserts, plains, and small towns, but every mile brought us closer to something bigger than ourselves.

The destination was important, but the journey was unforgettable.

As we traveled together, we shared stories, laughter, challenges, and moments of reflection that only fellow riders truly understand. There is a bond that develops when two women face the open road together. It’s built on trust, encouragement, and a shared love for adventure.

When we arrived at the Hard Rock Casino in Rockford, the energy was electric. Everywhere I looked, there were women riders representing different states, backgrounds, ages, and riding experiences. Some had traveled a few hours. Others had crossed multiple states. Yet despite our differences, we all shared the same passion for motorcycling and the freedom it represents.

At 11 a.m., the official count was taken. One thousand four hundred thirty-three women.

The previous record stood at 1,002 riders. Together, we didn’t just break the record—we shattered it.

As engines fired and the ride began, I felt an overwhelming sense of pride. Not because of a number, but because of what that number represented. It represented women choosing adventure over excuses. It represented courage, independence, friendship, and community. It represented thousands of stories that had all converged in one place for one incredible moment.

For me, the most meaningful part wasn’t the record itself. It was looking around and seeing women supporting women. It was the smiles, the hugs, the conversations, and the realization that motorcycling continues to bring people together in ways few other activities can.

As Founder and President of the Bling Devas Motorcycle Club, I’ve spent years watching the motorcycle community empower women to step outside their comfort zones and discover strengths they never knew they had. What happened in Rockford was a beautiful example of that spirit on the grandest scale.

Pineapple and I came to Rockford hoping to make memories. We left having experienced history.

Years from now, I may not remember every mile of the journey or every stop along the way. But I will always remember the sight of 1,433 women riders standing together, proving that when women unite through a shared passion, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.

The record may belong to the history books, but the friendships, inspiration, and sisterhood created that day will last a lifetime.  To see a full video from Instagram, please click here
