Just as our riding season was ending last fall, a new business was starting up and putting a fresh coat of paint on a historical biker bar in Golden Colorado. Dirty Dog’s Roadhouse opened their doors in November with a new look, new décor and Knucklehead Motorcycle behind the bar. If you are a long-time rider in Colorado, I am sure you have stories of visiting Susie’s and while many had tried to keep it open over the years, the owner Rob is a biker and knew that it would take more than fresh paint to re-open this biker landmark, it would take his heart and soul.
The biker community appreciates having the spirit of Susie’s with the new flair of Dirty Dogs Roadhouse back as a weekly destination. It’s a great place to meet up before and after your ride, and you will hard pressed not to see someone in there you know. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with happy hour specials. Texas hold-em has returned and starting in March, Dirty Dogs will host a weekly Wednesday bike night with a summer bike contest on March 28th.
Stop by and meet Rob and the employees of Dirty Dogs and be sure to mention you read about them in Colorado Rider News.
