Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson in Loveland announced yesterday that after 17 years of amazing memories and experiences, they have decided to retire Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson’s Thunder in the Rockies motorcycle rally.   This was a time-honored local Labor Day event for Colorado riders and surrounding northern states bikers bringing in national entertainment that gave local motorcycle riders a chance to see entertainment that you would only see at national rallies.  However, the popular motorcycle event organizers cited rising logistical challenges in hosting this size of an event, as the main reasons for the cancellation. Despite the disappointment, the organizers expressed their commitment to bringing back the event in the future.

This decision was certainly not easy, but it allows us the opportunity to pivot the focus to supporting Realities for Children’s fundraising efforts for abused and neglected children in our community at their Realities Ride and Rally on Aug 25th and 26th at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten in Fort Collins, Colo. We will be giving away our 2023 Harley-Davidson Sportster S during the Realities Ride and Rally as well as selling merchandise, displaying 2023 Harley-Davidsons and will have the Harley-Davidson Pan America Demo Truck on-site for test rides. The qualifier drawing for the Harley-Davidson giveaway will happen on the Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson stage at the Realities Ride & Ride on Friday, August 25th and you must be present to win. Register to win the bike (no purchase necessary) at Thunder Mountain’s Hot Rods and Hawgs on July 29 and Bike Night on July 20th and August 17th. For more questions, please refer to the attached press release and Bike Giveaway image.

They encourage everyone to join them and support the Realities For Children at their event on Aug 25 & 26.
