Shannon “Dazzlin” Venturo lines up 8 1/2 tons of donated peanut butter from Las Vegas Motorcycle riders.

The Bling Devas, MC hosted their 7th Annual Peanut Butter Drive this past September, proceeds benefited the Three Square Food Bank in Las Vegas, Nevada.

BDMC chooses September for the event because it is National Hunger Action Month. Annually the Nations Largest Food Bank Network, Feeding America brings awareness to “Food Insecurity”. What does that mean? Over 33 million people and about 9 million of those our nations children, suffer from food Insecurity, not knowing where their next meal will come from.  With the help of a very tight knit motorcycle community, Bling Devas MC collected over 16,700 POUNDS of creamy and chunky peanut butter.

Why Peanut Butter You ask?

It is a terrific source of protein, doesn’t have to be cooked or refrigerated, shelf sustainable and people love it.  It is one of the number one requested food items from food bank organizers.  Bling Devas, MC had a goal to just beat the prior 2022 results of 10,700 pounds and they cretainly smashed that goal.

In addition to the EIGHT and A HALF TONS of peanut butter collected, they were able to write a whopping check for cash donations totaling $15,475! When combined with the jars will feed over 190,000 meals. It is truly amazing what magic can happen with a shared vision and a purpose to serve those less fortunate.

President and Founder of the all-female motorcycle club, “Dazzlin” Shannon Venturo said, “I was just blown away as the stacks of peanut butter just kept coming and coming. I had gotten a little nervous about two weeks before the September 23rd actual event date. I even called the director at Three Square and told him we might not need as any collection bins as times are tough and more families are struggling to give of their own resources. We cut back by two bins. Wow that was a mistake.” She giggled. Three Square ended up needing to bring out three additional bins and another truck to load it all up.

CEO and Founder of Full Throttle Law, Jared Richards surprised “Dazzlin” with a special donation order of 5000 pounds of peanut butter. Through working with Smith’s Grocery store, Jared purchased the peanut butter on-line and it was shipped directly to a local Henderson NV Smith’s. Talk about spreading the love! A THIRD truck had to be sent to pick up the four pallets at the back dock of the grocery store. What in incredible donation from this special motorcycle injury attorney in Las Vegas NV. Mr. Richards said, “This is an event that is near and dear to our hearts and we have been happy to support it for several years now. My Partner Jonathan Barlow and I have a very important business value of giving back in the community we do business in and BDMC is a natural fit for us. They do so much themselves all year round. We are always proud of supporting their efforts as well as many, many other great organizations.” You can contact Full Throttle law for sponsorship on their website www.fullthrottlelaw.com
