32nd Annual Toy Run

Colorado Rider News Magazine Cover - 1217This startup issue is our introduction to the motorcycle and powersports community in Colorado. We decided to dedicate a mini-issue to The Children’s Hospital Toy Run: A vital local event near and dear to many riders’ hearts.

This year the Toy Run is celebrating its 32nd year and Rocky Mountain Harley Davidson has been a driving force behind this event since the very beginning. We want to express our gratitude to them for making our community a better place. Thank you for leading our riding community to do good!

Annually, this December event brings riders and residents of the community together for a day of celebration, random acts of kindness and, most of all, to bring a smile to a sick child. In my seven years of attending this event, I have never NOT seen a biker shed a tear. We all walk away knowing we’ve done something great.

Colorado riders are known to participate no matter what the weather and the children at the hospital are always lined up by the west windows to see the bikers roll in with their toys. It’s a happy moment for the kids and the biker community.

Colorado Rider News

It is our intention that Colorado Rider News will highlight the best aspects of the Colorado motorsports community and the events that bring us together. Our first full-featured issue will be released in March, 2018 and will be available for free in powersports dealerships, biker friendly bars and restaurants, and at select public events.

In each issue, look for:

  • Articles featuring local businesses owned by riders. We will give a larger voice to these businesses to help them connect with enthusiasts who share their passion.
  • Articles featuring the latest and greatest machines to ride: Sports bikes, street bikes, ATVs and off-road vehicles
  • Charities and non-profits that focus on the riding community (and not the other way around).
  • Calendar of powersports events across Colorado.
  • The best riding locations throughout the state and nearby.
  • Legislative information that affects powersports enjoyment.
  • And much, much more.

Our website will officially launch in January, 2018. We will consistently publish articles to the website between issues so you have access to the latest, greatest industry news with no need to wait for the next printed issue.

We will give riders more of what they crave: news that makes their riding habit even more enjoyable. Let us know what’s on your mind. Whatever you ride, Colorado Rider News wants to talk about what’s important to you. Send me an email with your suggestions: info@ColoradoRiderNews.com
