When I heard that local Colorado women riders were determined to be in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2019 for having the most women riders on one ride, I had to meet the person behind this vision. Susan Udero talked to me about her inspiration of organizing this world record attempt in Colorado and how she planned to make this happen.
She exclaims, “I know we will break the world record in Colorado because there are over 4,000 registered women riders here!” We will definitely beat United Kingdom with their world record of just 1,132 riders.” She went on to say that she has a strong team of coordinators that are just as enthused as she is and are going to make this happen.

More importantly, this whole world record attempt parade is to support the Firefly Autism charity based right here in Denver. This great charity treats children and adults with autism throughout the Front Range, and their services include clinical assessments and the development of individual treatment plans, an intensive early intervention program, a school-age program for students up to age 21, a home and community-based program, and weekly social skills groups. Firefly serves children (as young as 18 months of age) and adults, and every program in their clinic has a 1:1 student to teacher ratio. Firefly’s treatment is based on leading, empirically based interventions, primarily using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach functional skills.
Susan also said, “The women in the United Kingdom currently hold the world record of 1,132 and Texas has attempted three times and will try again this year as well as California. Florida attempted this year but failed. Kansas has plans to attempt this year as well for first time.”
The World Record Parade Attempt is set for August 24, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. at High Country Harley Davidson, 3761 Monarch St, Frederick, CO. All motorcycles are welcomed and 150+ ccs will qualify, but only women riding solo will qualify in the world record.

I love supporting children, so I am totally on board to ride in this parade and beat the record. How awesome will that be, to be included in Guinness?
