This year marks the 33rd year in a row for the largest Motorcycle Toy Run in the state, and this one is the Toy Run to the Children’s Hospital. Following last year’s record breaking attendance, the outlook for this year’s event should surpass it!

The Toy Run will once again start at the Aurora Sports Park Complex located in Aurora at 19300 Colfax Avenue. The park opens at 8:00 am and the parade will leave in escorted waves starting at 11:00 to proceed to the Children’s Hospital campus!

The Toy Run started in the smallest of stages and has grown to be attended by motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the state of Colorado and the metro Denver area. The support from not only the Harley-Davidson dealer network, but all other motorcycle manufacturers make this one of the most beloved annual Holiday happening! The true meaning of the Holiday Season is written in all the participants as well as the joy in the kids and their families at Children’s Hospital!

The Toy Run is just the beginning of how this annual collection of toys and gifts come to the Children’s Hospital. In addition to this day and the children that are patients getting to choose a gift, the abundance of toys left over are used by the hospital to present to patients there all year through. They also have a Snow Pile event later in December for invited families to select some gifts too.

Trying to keep things interesting this year, the Children’s Hospital has given permission to have an on-site parking lot gathering following the ride on their adjacent campus. There will be music, food trucks and on site presence from your local motorcycle dealers! This way folks attending can mingle with new and old friends and embrace the feelings of joy and giving!

Pre-registration is encouraged and wrist bands for entrance to the Sports Park will be given at that time. Locations are at any of the metro Harley-Davidson Dealerships as well as Grad Prix Motorsports, and Foothills BMW.
