There are many veteran charities that the biker community supports. All of them are much needed for those who have served, but none are quite like the Freedom Fest every June. In 2014, 89 Industries and Freedom Fest LLC was founded on the belief that “Freedom is Not Free.” Founder Dean Gary sought to make a difference and discovered an amazing charity called American Soldier Network. Their founder, Annie Nelson, has dedicated her life to helping our service men and women.

Dean learned of the tragic suicide epidemic in the veteran/military community, and he knew had to do more. Through Freedom Fest, he can do just that: raise awareness, appreciate our veterans/military, and raise funds to help American Soldier Network focus on combating the suicide epidemic head-on.

Freedom Fest grows bigger each year thanks to the huge loyal following of amazing people filled with gratitude for our veterans/ military and their sacrifices. We hope you will join us in this movement to create awareness and help our heroes know they are never alone, nor forgotten. Many veterans have taken the oath, “I CHOOSE TO LIVE.” The oath was created by Blackhawk Pilot, now country artist, Ryan Weaver and USMC Navy Cross recipient Jeremiah Workman, both of American Soldier Network. Freedom Fest is an emotional event that brings people together and can bring them to tears. This is a special day you won’t want to miss!

Freedom Fest has mixed it up this year. The ride is set for June 16th. It is sponsored by Steelhorse Soldiers and starts at Mile High Harley Davidson in Parker, CO. Ride registration is at 8 AM, and kickstands go up at 10 AM. The ride will end back at Mile High Harley Davidson with live music and great food.

The Freedom Fest Concert is set for June 23rd at The Platte Bar and Grill in Littleton, CO. As always, Dean has some great entertainment planned, and it is always a SAVE THE DATE event.
