As we enter in to March and the see the snow still on the ground in Colorado, I am beginning to believe that Phil the Groundhog from Punxsutawney Pennsylvania who revealed that “Spring will be early” isn’t just a fun thing to do on Groundhog Day. Most of us are beginning to feel a little cabin fever and itch to ride but we must remember this is still Colorado, and it appears nature is replenishing its resources in 2020.

Please be cautious out there on those intermittent nice riding days to realize that there is a lot of sand things that can cause you to lose control of your ride. It is also time to take a 2nd look at your motorcycle insurance and coverages, being pro-active with your riding includes making sure in the event of an accident that you are covered. 1/3 of all drivers in Colorado are driving with bare minimum coverage or none. Being out with little to no coverage will make it almost impossible to recover after an accident.

Colorado Rider News is always working to make this publication more diverse and we are so pleased this month to announce that Stretch McClure will be joining us with monthly words of inspiration. I know that many of you like myself love to read what Stretch has to say. We have named his monthly column Morning Stretch. I hope you will join us in WELCOMING Stretch as a great additional to Colorado Rider News. We also would like to WELCOME Audrey “Stormy” Paulas to our monthly writing staff. Most already knew that Stormy was Audrey, but we will be putting their faces with the articles to make their stories more personal. So, if you have a topic or subject you would like Stormy to write about in CRN, please contact her directly.

Lastly, we have updated our Biker Owned Business (B.O.B.) page with some new business that bring more diverse products and businesses to our page. It has always been my hope that riders would look to our B.O.B. page when you need a service done, keeping those biker dollars within our community.
As always enjoy the ride, let us know what we can do better and BE SAFE OUT THERE

We have also added a full page dedicated to monthly motorcycle safety. It is always the goal of CRN to encourage and promote training and classes that HELP BIKERS BETTER! Each month we will be featuring a list of training and ASM classes that are being held in Denver and surrounding areas to encourage riders.
