Here are the only vitamins I take:
Take your Vitamin A for ACTION,
Vitamin B for Belief,
Vitamin C for Confidence,
Vitamin D for Discipline, and
Vitamin E for Enthusiasm!
Take responsibility for your own happiness, do not expect people or things to bring you happiness, or you could be disappointed. There is absolutely no greater high than challenging the power structure as a nobody, giving it your all, and winning!
No one rises above who he or she has been without first having fallen down. The best time – in fact, the only time – to make a real change in your life is in the moment of seeing the need for it. He who hesitates always gets lost in the hundred reasons why tomorrow is a better day to get started.
Occasionally, there arises a writing situation where you see an alternative to what you are doing, a mad, wild gamble of a way of handling something, which may leave you looking stupid, ridiculous or brilliant -you just don’t know which. You can play it safe there, too, and proceed along the route you’d mapped out for yourself. Or you can trust your personal demon who delivered that crazy idea in the first place.
Trust your demon! Do not waste the vast majority of your life doing something you hate so that you can spend the small remainder sliver of your life in modest comfort. You may never reach that end anyway. Resist the temptation to get a job, you know what I mean that “it’s a Job” job. Instead, play. Find something you enjoy doing. Do it. Over and over again. You will become good at it for two reasons: you like it, and you do it often. Soon, that will have value in itself!
Have a great Tuesday!
