BikerDown Foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps injured motorcycle riders recovery after an accident. We help with emotion and limited financial support, motorcycle awareness, fundraising thru our BDFundme and legal assistance when needed. We are a nationwide nonprofit that has biker advocates all over the country to help you in your time of need.
NOW TO GET TO THE GOOD STUFF
In 2022, President and Founder Laurie Montoya and her husband Chomper attended the High Seas Rally, the only motorcycle cruise for bikers, yes, I said for motorcycle riders only. While very unsure what the cruise would be like, it took only a few minutes to see that this was going to be a rally on a ship. The entertainment was what you expect at Sturgis like Colt Ford, Foghat, and Molly Hatchett to name a few.
Every day was filled with sunshine, theme nights, builder demos, contests & games, auctions & raffles. Proceeds from the cruise will benefit the Dialysis Fund and Wounded Warrior Project.
After the cruise was close to its end, we had the opportunity to rebook for 2023. It was decided that we would not only rebook for ourselves, but our Board voted to give away a trip for 2 as our main giveaway for 2023.
The 2023 rally takes place aboard Royal Caribbean’s spectacular Radiance of the Seas. With more than a dozen bars and restaurants, a Vegas-style casino, rejuvenating spa, and an expansive pool deck, the ship is a destination of its own! And with the most glass of any Royal Caribbean ship, there are nonstop views of the ocean both inside and out!
